I have been here since 2012. And by here, I mean at Long Bay Baptist Church, but also here in New Zealand. I originally hail from sunny South Africa and spent 10 years in the UK before being called to this church. With me came my lovely wife, Verena, and our four amazing children (I’m their Dad – I’m allowed to say they’re amazing!).
I think that Church is great and I think that this local expression of church is wonderful: flawed, but wonderful. Seeing people come to faith and seeing lives transformed is a joy to be a part of. We do this in all sorts of ways as we creatively explore how to share the gospel of Jesus with others
